Pcv delete/remove
« on: July 01, 2013, 05:23:47 pm »
Is it a must to bypass the pcv on mapped ed30s?

Had a stage1 map put on my car and its started idling funny. When the car is just ticking over the revs go upto 1.5 - 2k without touching the peddle. Could this be the pcv. The coil packs have been changed.

Faulty PCV can cause your rough/erratic idle and no its not necessary to use a bypass on mapped cars. Personally I'd just get the latest revision PCV for your car, your local dealer will let you know which one is for your car, either N or P IIRC.
