All booked into Awesome for APR Stage 2 APR RSC TBE system to be fitted. I've already fitted a brand new APR HPFP.

May also consider APR FMIC but he jury's out as I need a big brake kit, diff and ARB's too.

Cracking on at a pace for next years outings.

Loooking forward to the extra torque and BHP

S3 intercooler is a cheaper, viable alternative.

How much?

Where from?

S3 FMIC...where's best to obtain this from?

TBH I have not suffered heat soak yet on the track. :happy2: Testiment to the stock intercooler  :happy2:

Brakes and a diff I suspect will be next.

Speak to MAT ED30 as he was doing them for a reasonable price.

I thought you said you were looking for a quiet exhaust.

I heard Chris's  AKA White GTI at a recent rolling road day and it sounded like a spitfire in a dog fight.

I loved it but quiet it was not.  :pomppomp:

Is it not quiet on the inside...I was led to believe the RSC was as quiet as stock at cruising speeds?

Their video was seem to verify this or is very noisy under normal driving otherwise it will be a Milltek resonated sysytem.

Perhaps White GTI can help out?

Just want to boost performance with Stage 2 but want a decent exhaust that's quiet on the inside especially at cruising speeds....don't want a boomy Scorpion type jobbie!

Doesn' t Cohibra have the RSC system IIRC? Might be worth giving him a PM mate.
But if you are wanting a nice sounding exhaust on full chat, but like standard with normal driving, then sounds to me like you want the Res Milltek as I was exactly the same as you in what I wanted from the exhaust and it worked perfectly..

Is the apr RSC a full TBE or just DP snd Cat

I have a 3" DP and Cat and it made mine sound much meatier, but not intrusive unless im press on the shout pedal. I think if i put the back box on it would be too intrusive

The APR RSC is a TBE.

The RSC on Chris's GTi sounds awesome.

You will find the RSC quieter than some of the alternative makes out there (from within the cabin) and I know when installed mine, i was surprised at how quiet the exhaust note was when cruising around and in town traffic. Motorway cruising is great - you dont have to turn up the stereo! lol

That's reassuring....how much difference would you say there is over the stock exhaust whilst cruising (within cabin)?

Just don't want the car to be turned into a max power yob mobile! One of the nice thing about the MK5 is it's refinement.

Any feedback would be great especially as the alternative is a Milltek which being resonated would be pretty quiet and give approx the same gains.

Cruising around at any speed is as quiet as stock IMO.  It is when you give it beans it sounds like no other exhaust on the planet.
It sounds fantastic.  :happy2:
