Number Plate Magnets
« on: July 02, 2013, 10:39:24 pm »
Im having my front number plate smoothed in a few weeks. I've seen a few people with magnets behind the grill/bumper and on the number plate for easy attachment/removal. Just wondered if anyone knows where I can get these from?

Thanks

Just search the web for strong earth magnets. Will bring up plenty of shops that sell them

Im doing this but shopping around for the magnets, im going to use thin flexible magnet for the number plate (like a fridge magnet photograph) and a big strong magnet behind the bumper. Interested to here what other people have done though to save me trial and erroring it!

Bought mine from eBay, link below. Get the N35 Neodymium Magnets. Also look at using double sided suction cups as an alternative. I have an OEM American smoothed grill and have both types of plate (magnets and suckers) and both are as good as each other. One on the car and one in the boot.

Both, on mine.....

That's a great help thank you! Ill probably give both a go as the suckers are only cheap.

I know it's as easy as googling it but i always like to see what others have used and recommend   :happy2:
