Air con fuse number and DSG question.
« on: July 07, 2013, 09:21:09 pm »
Could someone please provide me with the fuse number for the air conditioning unit? I don't have a owners manual and my air con isn't even switching on, so will check the fuse before anything else. Thank you.

 :happy2:

Also, has anyone experienced the following in their DSG 'box: When cruising above 50 in 6th (in all 3 modes..S, Trip and D) If I tap the accelerator, the car jerks and the rev counter jumps ever so slightly, and then continues to accelerate OK. It only happens if I'm being light footed. If I press hard in all modes and from lower gears/revs it's absolutely fine.  It seems to be worse if the temperature is higher, like it's been for the past few days.  I know my DSG isn't as smooth as it should be  - but apart from this, I've not experienced any of the tell tale signs of the 'box being knackered.  The gears change well at low speeds, so as long as I warm the 'box up for 3-4 mins first thing.

Could this be a intake/valve issue of some sorts? I'm having the DV changed soon - hoping this could be the problem. Would coil packs / throttle body / spark plugs / poor intake / coolant / other shizzle cause these problems?

Thanks in advance for any advice. I know I don't always say thank you for your advice - it's because I very rarely get the time to log on.

I have found this from another forum - but it doesn't make much sense. Each fuse has multiple functions?
