I've finally had my NQBBK fitted and all is good.  Early days - it was just finished this afternoon but first impression is the pedal feels more progressive than with the OEM caliper set up. The garage I entrusted it to had no problems fitting the kit and commented on how well made the brackets were and the excellent finish on the calipers.  (Thanks Dave)  The only question mark that arose is whether the 10mm spacers fitted between the hub and the disc will have any adverse effect on the handling of the car and if any alignment checks should be carried out?

If your tracking was within spec just before you added the spacers then I wouldn't bother to redo the tracking.
Did you put spacers on the rear as well?
Without traction power is nothing!

Hi mate. Sorry I just got your PM.

As above. If the tracking was ok before then it will still be ok now. Increasing the front track should give you slightly more front end grip and reduce understeer. How much is debatable. 10mm spacers on the rear is what I would do as it will match the front better visually.

Have fun in glasgie!!!

Thanks chaps.
The front to rear track width disparity does look rather odd now; I'd better order some more spacers pronto!
I'll report back on the brake feel and efficiency when I get a few hundred miles on the clock. Early signs are good.
