Makita HW130 pressure washer + Snowfoam

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and currently looking for some advice as I'm a total newbie and want to get good rests when cleaning the motor

As in the title I have the Makita HW130 pressure washer my dad bought about 2009/2010 if it helps with the answer I'm after...

It came with a Snowfoam bottle attachment but to be honest it's rubbish and I can't get the results I've seen other people get with these Snowfoam lances you can buy off the net from polished bliss etc.. My question to you guys is does anyone know what attachment I need to buy with a Snowfoam lance in order to be able to use it with no troubes with my Makita HW130 pressure washer as from looking on the Internet there doesn't seem to be a specific makita Snowfoam lance attachment like there is for machines such as karcher and nilfisk etc..

I've read somewhere that someone used a Bosch connected with the lance but it didn't work as it should without any modification and I'd rather be able to buy something off a shelf that will work straight away if possible..

If anyone can shine some light on this for me that would be great,

Right guys,

I've been round the houses and can't get a decent answer from anyone if i was honest as no one seems to know 100%..

Anyway..

i've researched into this a little more and correct me if im wrong but would it be possible to interchange the trigger/gun part of my Makita machine with lets say a karcher gun/trigger or the HW131 gun/trigger and then be able to fit a "proper" snow foam lance?

Hi Paul,

From researching on the net and different forums it seems there isn't an adaptor I could buy to fit my makita machine but have read somewhere that some people with the same problem have just switched the gun part with a karcher gun and cable then bought a snow foam lance to fit the karcher gun as if it were a karcher machine..
