what compound?
« on: July 18, 2013, 10:11:17 pm »
some advice on light scratch marks on my paintwork, got a tiny bit of grit in the microfibre even after shaking it out the other day. i haven't got a machine polisher just me and my cloth. saying that i get such good results i cant really warrant a polisher. i dont want to wet sand or use some really aggressive compound just one that will take the scratches out without ruining the paint too much?

normal routine :
wash with meguiars ultimate wash and wax
g3 scratch remover on the light marks (only bits and bobs not the whole car)
autoglym ultra deep shine
turtle wax black box (the business!)
autogylm hd wax
meguiars perfect clarity window cleaner
meguiars endurance tyre gel x2 coats

Aany comments appreciated
supaguard viynl care for black trim or i use the tyre gel if i have enough

the g3 scratch remover will probably be putting marks into to paint due to its abrasiveness,me personally i dont like these kind of products just think they make the paint worse, yes maybe they do sort of remove or mask a scratch but under light the area will stand out like a sore thumb..

i would personally save your hard earned pennies for a megs g220 or das pro and trust me you will never look back.

also use two buckets aswell..
stage 2+ Grey Ed30..DSG 362 BHP.380 lb/ft.....Also Statller Tuned :)
