new brakes needed recommendations please
« on: July 09, 2013, 03:29:52 pm »
Hi guys.

I have a mk5 golf dsg 140 diesel. My front pads and discs and rear discs and shoes need replacing. Can anyone recommend some good ones please. Some web links would be useful. The dealers quoted me £500 for the lot. Which I think is a con!!

Thanks guys

That sounds like a good deal! Would you be able to provide an eBay link?

thats the set i bought, probably slightly different for the 140, but its somewhere to start looking

hope you get a good deal, £500 is a joke for standard parts tbh, even with fitting
