Running wheels 18x9 et 35 and problems

Hi anybody running 18x9 s don't expect any problems but just wondered if any one is running the same size and were problem free et is 35 I think  cheers andy

ET42-45 is problem free on a 19x8J wheel.

I don't think ET35 will be, but I'm not sure.

I'm running 8.5x18 et35 with 215/40 - I'm pretty damn low (that's a technical term!) and I'm running stock arches (other than removing the front splash guard bolt) don't see why the extra 1/2 inch would make it any worse - however you'd have to put a but of camber on the back, or just don't run it too low.





Sometimes just touches, but only just.

Na in not very low on ebach springs there 225 40 on a 9j so could be close lookin at your set up , but like you say then should be ok most of time just with the 40mm drop on gti  :happy2:

I had no problems 225 on a 9j on lowering springs, rear only. Had 8j on front
