Intake manifold runner control problem?
« on: July 10, 2013, 07:56:09 pm »
Hi,car engine check light came on a few week's ago and a scan showed that there was a problem with the intake manifold runner control, took it to my local VW independent and he managed to get rid of it by doing some basic setting's using his diagnostic machine, the light's not on anymore but i'm 100% sure the car is'nt nowhere near the same sort of power it was before the check engine light came on(stage 1 map) and also my turbo to intercooler pipe sprung a leak.Is there any chance that the inlet manifold runner is not opening fully when i'm flooring it?

What basic setting's did he use to reset the intake manifold runner control?
If it's not broke, Mod it.....
