MK5 Golf GT Value
« on: July 12, 2013, 09:38:40 am »
Hi all,

Looking for a little bit of enthusiast help if possible. Im going to be putting my car up for sale this weekend but i am unsure on what its value is as a private sale with its added extras etc.

VW Golf GT Sport 170 DPF. 2007. 63000 miles. Deep Black Pear Effect.

The car is in pristine condition, its been lowered on adjustable coilovers (3 months old) fitted with new top strut mount and bearings, 17" bbs rs replicas (3months old with no kirbing), GTI side skirts, GTI rear valance (both painted to match the car fitted 3 months ago), VW Kenwood DNX520VBT Headunit and a genuine VW Arm Rest.

Car also comes with standard 17" GT Sport Alloys to be used in the winter, standard rear GT valance, centre console if arm rest removed, standard suspension set up and brand new Leon Cupra front splitter which i was planning on trying on. And best of all it also comes with a full years additional warranty aswell.

Just looking for roughly how much people think this may be worth on private sale.

Really? If that's the case it's too much for me.  Seen GTI's with similar mileage for a lot less.  Good luck with the sale tho.

Tbh I'm not up on gti prices ..but tdi's always hold strong money due to good all round torque and power , great fuel economy and the high miles they can do plus can be cheaper to insure than gti ...put it this way my golf tdi wagon on a 57 plate was £9000 on vw used cars ...
