Pistonheads v Autotrader
« on: September 01, 2012, 08:13:30 pm »
Evening all

I have advertised my Golf on Pistonheads, my question is - is it worth sticking it on Autotrader too?

Few bits to clear
« Reply #4 on: October 29, 2012, 04:49:24 pm »
First up is my dblias flowmaster intake to suit 2.0tfsi. This is a k04 intake but a silicone plug can be bought from eBay for £2.50 to convert it to a k03 intake.
Complete intake with additional pipercross filter for extra noise and power if required.
£145 delivered or £135 collected

Next is my Tfsi engine cover already trimmed to fit with intake.
This still uses 3 of the mounting points
Underneath the centre plate there is a crack beside the oil cap which has been glued. This doesn't affect the cover in anyway and can't be seen from the top.
£38 delivered or £30 collected

Next is my team heko wind deflectors to fit mk2 leon (front doors)
These come with 3 retaining clips and fitting diagram
£18 delivered or £15 collected

All items are located in Dumfriesshire
Payment by PayPal gift or bank transfer
Any questions please pm or post here.

Mini Cooper S JCW
« Reply #8 on: December 27, 2012, 09:31:50 pm »
Hi, seeing as the MKV is now sold, new owner picking up Sunday. I was thinking of getting something 4wd, but I saw an r56 jcw the other day and it looked and sounded fantastic! But I hear they have a few problems!? Anyone had one or experienced any them selves?

The other option I have is my brothers R53 mini, running a nice 260bhp and is highly tuned but to a reliable level. I looked at buying that and possibly twin screwing it?

Has anyone had one of these? Good cars? Reliable?

Cheers, Joe

10p off per litre of Shell V-power!
« Reply #10 on: May 08, 2013, 10:03:29 am »
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/shell-v-power-diesel-petrol-10p-off-a-litre-minimum-fill-40-1546559

Just seen this thought it might be of interest.

Apparently you get 10p off per litre of shell v-power if you put in £40 at all attended stations. I haven't tried it yet but will be going later today to see and ill let you know. There is a link to all the attended stations here, on an excel spreadsheet. From what i can gather you need to get the voucher before you fill up. Anyone else seen this deal?

VWR Filter horsepower flow
« Reply #11 on: May 08, 2013, 09:29:28 pm »
Does anyone know how much power the VWR intake for the MK6 can flow (http://www.volkswagenracing.co.uk/parts/vwr-cold-air-intake-system-11/]http://www.volkswagenracing.co.uk/parts/vwr-cold-air-intake-system-11/. The reason i ask is that i have one on my VRS TSI and i am going to take it down the K04 route but wondered if it can flow
Regards,

Mike

Hi All - thought i'd register - on the lookout for bits to install on my car.

After an RNS510 with DAB support ideally. Who is good to talk to on this upgrade?

Cheers,
Ste.
