Probably slow because the diverter valve rubber has split and it's losing boost.

Well then your research was well worth it - give it a miss!

As for power you couldn't use that vehicle as an example - keep looking and test driving.

At 4.5k im surprised it even existed, just not someone who will deliver it via their personal agent after paying via western union!

theres loads on autotrader for around 4.5 - 6k

Not many good ones tho.  I'd prefer a 3dr with FSH thats had a Cambelt change and no more than 100k miles....

I stumbled across that car on ebay when I was looking for mine. Advert seemed ok but I shyed away in the end.
