Literally just read through this whole thread and it's been one of the best build guides/thread I've read so far! I'm fairly new to this forum and already feel gutted that you're having to sell... Loving this car and a shame to see it up for sale, if anyone does buy it complete they will not be disappointed!!

Well guys, #1521 is no longer mine. It was driven away by her new owner earlier today. It left me as it was so #1521 as we all know her is still alive  :happy2: The new owner wants to keep the car on the path I was following so has also bought all my 4WD bits so watch this space  :driver:
I will leave it up to the new owner if they want to introduce themselves and update this thread or start a new one. I know the Golf is in great hands
Thank you everyone for the help, advice and support this forum has given me over the years and (at some point) ..........I will be back!!!

Glad it went as one. Truly an awesome car and a real testament what can be achieved with hard work and vision. Some great mods that have inspired myself and I'm sure many others on here. Sad u have had to part with it but also excited to see what u do in the future 6R ? I really hope the new owner keeps the dream going. So long #1521 for now at least
