Its a similar conversion when using golf mk5 clocks in Caddys/Touran which Iv done a number of times for clients when I did retrofits in the past. Good VW keep the internals relatively swappable in that respect.

When you sprayed the bumper wirh that plasti dip does it need to be sanded down and prepped properly? Or does that stuff go straight on with a proper clean?

All I did was clay bar then used some panel wipe to degrease it and applied the plasti dip. I masked about 2 inch outside of the area so i had something to peal away. I used about four coats so it was thick and then pealed away what I didnt want. Its been on for ages now and hasnt come away. If I ever want to remove it I can just peal it off and the paint underneath is untouched. It dries with a slight texture so not absolulty smooth but where iv used it it looks right. Dipmycar on youtube has loads of tutorials and fonzy does some interesting projects  :happy2:

That pic of the Recaro seat back looks great - glad to see they're coming along well, & the trimmer looks to have done a great job. Will be an awesome mod once done.
Nice work on the dials, and on the vid - the dials are fiddly, and I found the same issue on the needles - felt like you'd break something until you find the way is to twist them off the spindle. On my old mkiv I did a similar dial face swap on a set of standard mkiv full FIS dials using a 25th Anni / Bora Sport cluster to make a full FIS set with the Anni / Bora Sport trims & needles - they were pretty rare from factory.

The cluster should bring the mk5 bang up to date once fitted  :happy2: Can't be anything left to do to the interior after these?!

Stunning , no other words for them.
How do the door panels look?

Any chance of a Weight comparison between the ed30 and these chairs before you bolt them in :happy2:
