When I removed mine I used a flat spanner , covered it in a tag to prevent any damage then levered it underneath. Work a treat, just make sure you put plenty of wd40 around it and let it sit  :happy2:

If it had of entered my head the spanner advice sounds the job!

However, when I had this problem I bought the tool for less than a £10 off Amazon!

Used the spanner on a mates car today and works a treat, just wrapped it in my drying microfibre to stop any damage and used some wd40 first

tried spanner for bout 30 minutes today...not happening
turns out i just took 3 10 mm nuts from the wiper motor and gives enough room to get handle out..
in the morning i need to cut a leg off the motor and a piece of the tailgate to allow the rvc to fit
hope it works out..

Your nearly there now - keep the faith!

Plenty silicon spray when pulling the cables through the tailgate cable duct though!
