RNS510 screen help
« on: July 14, 2013, 07:53:06 pm »
my rns510 as started to bubble away in the top left hand corner, as if its got a plastic cover over it, is this the case or is it something more? it doesn't seem to have anything to pull it away and don't want to mess to much incase I make it worse.

thanks

If not the first owner of this unit, could it have a screen protector??

not a clue, seems strange, should it just be the glass or is there some sort of plastic coating over them :-/

If it isn't a screen protector then it might be the touchscreen surface that's lifted. The RNS has an old style touchscreen where you can feel it depress slightly when you touch the surface, not like a modern touchscreen on smartphones, etc which are a glass surface. If its this touch surface that's lifting then I'd be very careful as you might do more damage.
