im off to ITG saturday to get mine ftted to the vRS, would have held out for the forge but they showed no interest in trying to get a twintake ddesigned to fit into the vRS, so ITG win.

you wont be dissapionted its a good kit  :happy2:.

Sounds nice warren!

take off the engine blanket / noise cover to increase the vroom tish lol

for the record is just sounds identical to my BSH intake which costs half the price..and will no doubt produce silmilar gains.

why is EVERYone on the whole ITG bandwagon? :(

Because the forge twintake is potentially flawed, the dbilas too quiet, the evoms too loud, the rest all need modifying for the k04 engine, and because the maf housing is the right size for revo software lol. And I think it looks good to.

Plus I cant get the BSH one because you have one

Think thats where i'm going wrong with the Dbilas seems to induce the odd missfire at high RPM.

Def liking Waynes  BSH (modified) and at half the price! Why are these intakes so expensive?

I mentioned in the other thread; there's anecdotal evidence of the dbilas intake resulting in lean fuelling under certain conditions. This can lead to that odd misfire... something I have encountered myself.

Curious about the twinktake being potentially flawed, Jonny C - your thoughts as you've used a pre-production unit which Forge told me has been revised further.

Both ITG and Forge claim to produce similar increases but I would imagine the forge unit to be quiter due to it's enclosed design.

I'm led to believe the delay with the forge units has been in production but these should be available imminently.

So whats going on with this ITG thing? Can I order one now? I desperately need a CAI as my engine cover is kaput and is snapping the sensor on my fuel pump.

The developed for the Leon cupra is complete and the first production version was shipped Friday.

The S3 one was just about completed today and the Golf by the end of next week.

More parts have been ordered and will be available within a couple of weeks.

Let me know if you want contact details for ITG and will PM them over  :happy2:

^^^ PM'ed  :happy2:

Here are the latest developments on mine, ceramic coated pipes

Even the underside of the heatshield / mounting plate is coated

I am trying to these to help establish if this makes enough of a difference to offer it as an option as it's seriously expensive for what it is (the reason it's white is that's the cheapest colour).

Need to sort the final issues out on my car and then I will be able to fully test this and do some detailed logging  :fighting2:
