Just wondering if Steve or anybody with the ITG has done any boost logs in Vag-Com? Does this over come the shortfall in actual vs requested boost towards redline as seen on Revo Stage 2+ with the standard airbox?

Can't remember checking this lately but will log the car tomorrow and let you know  :happy2:

Cheers bud!

Stage 2+ is an extra file you pay for on top of stage2 right.
I thought a CAI of any description was mandatory for at this point anyway.

Correct (£50) - code is optimised for uprated HPFP.

you can run stg2+ without an intake, but to get the full benefit you need 1

You can run Stage 2+ with the standard airbox providing you keep the boost setting down, although Revo do advise you to install a CAI as the standard airbox is too restrictive so can't physically deliver the amount of air required to meet the requested boost from 6krpm onwards on high boost settings. I personally would not run above boost 6 until you fit a CAI.

This is the reason i asked the question as i wanted to confirm that the ITG filter overcomes the shortall in boost towards redline as im sure it will. I look forward to seeing some logs  :happy2:

Mine's already running Stage 2 with B8t6f9 as are many on here with no adverse affects from VAG-COM but agreed, yes it will run significantly better with the CAI.
I will post my finding on friday, fingers crossed.

Robern2 - would be interesting to do some logging on your current set up and then repeating once you have a CAI  :happy2:

This is correct. I was stage 2 plus with just hpfp until recently and power tailed right off at 6000rpm. Now with the ITG the car holds power much much better higher up the rev range.
