What causes this?
« on: August 10, 2013, 07:55:18 pm »
I've change the front brake pads today and since then I've done around 50miles, when I got out the car there is a patch on the driver side brake disc where it looks as if the pad isn't touching the disc when I brake. Any ideas why? You'll see what I mean in the pic.

The lip on the inside of the disc is causing that mate. Keep putting miles on it, and it will wear in evenly soon.
Or shave the lip down a little

Yes that makes sense cheers for replying, I might chip the lip off carefully tomorrow with a hammer and see if that cures it.
