« on: July 19, 2013, 01:20:22 pm »
hi ya guys wondering if anyone can help
ive just recently purchased a edition 30 58 plate  but it don't have multi function steering controls  so ive decided to replace it with a golf mk6 gti wheel
what parts are required to do this mod if anyone can help it will be much appreciated
also i have purchased a version b rns 510 sat nav unit , is this worth keeping as i have seen  loads of bad reviews about it regarding battery drain due to the unit   :surprised:
any help will be  great full thank you and speak soon  :happy2:

you won't get battery drain on your 58 plate car

you can fit a mk6 wheel

but you will need a CH controller (I have these) and you also need to check what cruise stalk you have if fitted

Bump anyone?

As Eddie says you need a CH steering wheel controller and, if you do want cruise control, I believe the latest version is of the stalk is G. You'll also probably need an airbag wiring harness that supports multifunction.

Probably, as non multifunction looms don't have a plug which goes to the button controller.
