new member : edition 30 :)
« on: July 24, 2013, 02:18:08 pm »
Hi all , been on this site for a while now but never got round to putting my car up on it , here it is though .

Got it totally standard , but it now has a full bcs decat exhaust system from the turbo back , itg air intake system , fk silver line coilovers fk shorter drop links, forge blow off adapter plate , sachs performance clutch and pressure plate and a remap .

After fitting the coilovers along with the shorter drop links the bottom arm hits of the antiroll bar . Is there anyway i can get around this ie adjustable drop links ?

This for the future will be : rcd 510 radio , front and rear bumpers painted as they are all stone chipped , full body buff , possibly a high pressure fuel pump ( what sort of power should i expect with the mods i have if i also get this?) and maybe a set of 3sdm's .

One other question how do i find out what number the car is ?

Here is some pics of it ,

all comments welcome :)

Very nice. Welcome aboard the forum.

Like the Pescara wheel colour looks smart against the silver.
Did you get that done? If so what colour is it?

Cheers , ill have a look on here about the details of getting the number .

Yeah I'm starting to think about just keeping it the way it is but maybe lower it abit more when I sort out the ARB hitting the lower arms at the front .

Welcome on board, car looks like a good un.  :drinking:

If your going Stage2+ then add a FMIC along with your HPFP (look at the THS Intercooler) and you'll be looking at anything around 320bhp but maybe more, depending if your going for a custom map.

As for your Edition30 plaque and number...

Contact WV customer services on 0800 0833914. Give them all your details (telling them your after your "individually numbered Golf GT Edition 30 plaque") and if one has not been previously sent out to a former owner one will be sent to you for free. If one has been sent out before then you will not get one.

IIRC you will need to send them (via email) a copy of your Reg Document showing its your car and they go from there.

I delt with a chap called Matthew Young but lots of peeps have delt with a lass called Jenny (I think).

Hope that helps. Any probs, PM me (when you've enough posts) and I'll dig out the direct phone number for the chap I spoke to.
