Audi S3 Sprint Blue Now stage 2
« on: August 01, 2013, 08:52:39 pm »
:driver:Well picking this up tomorrow hopefully, its an 06 reg with 72k on the clock bodywork is pretty good apart from one dent and some small rust on the drivers door sill, but im happy with it!! New to the vdub scene and coming from a fiesta st i can already say its a great improvement. Would love some ideas and feedback.

Could anyone point me in the direction of how to add aux to the standard radio and anything i should look out for maintenance wise!

Yep will be modding very shortly, looking to get a suitcase delete dont want to fork out for a full exhaust just a nice sound and nice tail pipes is what im after.

So plans!:
Suitcase delete
stage 1 remap
alloy refurbishment (possible bbs ch)
lower on springs
fit aux
tidy up the bodywork!
enjoy

Whats the story with the rust warranty my car is an 06 plate on 73k should vw cover this before it gets any worse?

Looks a decent step up from the fiesta. Would love a black car, but would take so much work for me to be happy with the finish!

Regards the rust - sorry, but I think you have no absolutely no hope. Marks on the wheelarch look like stone chips gone bad, and scuffing on the door sill will be rejected as 'wear & tear'.

I had a go at VW with my old mkiv & rust on a wheelarch, but their default is 'its not internal corrosion' / 'caused by a stone chip'. VW CS were even worse...utter robots...

yeah miss the fezza tho haha, i dunno if its just a dodgey pick but the bits on the wing are all bubbled so i dont think thats down to stone chips, do you think the damage to the sills could be repaired easily or is it more than likely going to return

heres the fiesta before she went :(
