I've heard plenty of bad stories about tuning Corsa VXRs at Regal.

I would use them for buying things off - I'm going to be buying an EVOMs intake from them if I stick with the car, but I wouldn't let them map it lol.

In fairness to Regal, Corsa Vxr's have always melted pistons from day one, even on standard cars. I have never been to any so cant comment but there is a lot of fanboy love for R tech  :happy2:

They do have some problems but when they take a Corsa VXR to stage 3 on standard internals, telling the guy it would be fine and a few weeks later it blows a hole in the side of the block....?

Rtech is not fanboyism, it's because they are good. I've had my TDI worked on by them and my GTI will be getting their treatment as well.

Fair enough haha, I dont doubt that r tech are good was just a little joke ;)

Think I need to call r tech for a chat what exhaust should I go for I want a nice burble.

Im personally running a Piper one box system, its loud but i like it like that.

Alot of people rave on about BCS exhausts but ive never had one.

Lol I was wondering when the r tech love would start... I just sent them a mail on edition38 and they been sending me quotes and info. I will copy and paste up tomorrow see what people think.

The problem is, it is very hard to get an honest view on most things as it is human nature to promote our choices and cleverly ignore any downsides. Your have to claw your way through the fog and do your research.  Engine maps are always the biggest point of contention, for some reason once you get a map on your car you become part of a religious group.  :fighting2:

With Saint Steve now being a recent convert to R-Tech I can see it ending up like the Wako siege.   :rolleye:

Was gonna say any more Revo lovers wanna add a Thankyou before I post?  Lol
Depending on where you live,  either JKM or R Tech. I would send my worst enemy to Regal,  here's hoping Top Cat takes my advice :-P

 :signLOL:

I have a BCS Powervalve Sports TBE, and love it. But I can only compare it to standard as not had any other. Its slightly above stock when cruising around and gets nice and loud when giving it the beans :happy2:

I've really been enjoying it this summer with the windows down :driver:

If your willing to travel then you can't go wrong at R-Tech. That's a fact  :happy2:

People say there are a lot of fanboys, I think it's because there aren't any bad reviews to balance it out

If your after a reputable garage to upload a map that's local to you, as others have said JKM are very capable and knowledgable when it comes to the TFSI  :happy2:

Main thing against Regal Ben, is there's a much better place just 15 miles down the road in JKM

Why use somewhere with crap customer aftercare service??

Yeah I guess. Just that regal is 5 mins from me. And jkm's dunk is "out of order" so would get the free dyno with the revo map as per offer.
