Plenty of people. It's a bit sweeter than most so apparently suits the British palate.

Wouldn't touch the gassy, piss-tasting stuff myself.

Wife works for the brewer that distributes Corona, which is my lager of choice most of the time.

not overly keen on corona as gave me a massive hangover a few times althgough tastes fine at the time.

Red Stripe in a can = hangover from hell the day after  :stupid:
Corona extra is second best to Red Stripe...you need to drink a few glasses of water before going to bed to cure the hangovers

Have had 3 versions of Peroni, the red labelled one, the most common Nastro and a Gran Reserva one bought in Tesco. Didn't go much on the first, like the 2nd, but not the price in pubs (£4.10 a pint in my local!) and the 3rd was a right head banger and far too strong to be enjoyable. Had that syrupy Special Brew vibe about the flavour.

They are obviously German and fairly rare in this county. A few places have bitburger on tap... but ive never seen Veltins this side of the North Sea.

Bitburger and Veltins both available from any Tesco around here, and a local pub has Bitburger on draught  :drinking:

I like Veltins but I'm battered after three pints so I don't drink the stuff anymore.
