To be honest mate, slowing you down is the aim of any brake system ........ :evilgrin:

They do weigh A LOT, in the region of 22KG each side, adding a massive amount of unsprung weight.  I ran them for a bit.

Can't understand why the 4 pot Cupra R 1.8T brakes weren't used or developed upon in the later R32/S3/Cupra.... cost?

There's no doubting they are better than the standard GTI setup, but that weight and single piston... meh.

Yes a little off putting but I'm sure the braking power is of more benefit.

Downpipe and stage 2 it s then. I'm sure APR offer free stage upgrades?

Also no intercooler needed?

Est power output without upgrade pump?

Interested in this too, as i may fit decat downpipe and get APR to upgrade to stage 2.

Im sure they quote 270bhp.

Then stage 2+ is 280bhp? Cant remember the hardware difference though..
