Swapping ECU's???
« on: August 01, 2013, 06:29:04 pm »
It looks like my ecu is scrap and ive found this on ebay -

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111129723818?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

The part number on my unit is 1K0 907 115 A and the one on the ebay item is 1K0 907 115 F will this be ok for my car and if so is it just a case of fitting and then coding with vag com?

Fingers crossed  :scared:

I think this would be the better option for price

Also they could probably answer your question on the EBay item, if you wish to go that route.

we can read all data from your old ECU and flash it to the new ECU to make it a clone of your old one.
