Fuel gone up 3p/litre in last week- what's going on!?

What's happening... Was paying 140.9/litre end of last week, paid 142.9/litre at start of this, the 143.9/ litre last night... Same station...

They profiteering cos the suns out and everyone's out in their cars...?

Brent and crude oil where both very expensive for a while when news broke about the possible arming of rebels in Syria combined with weak output from refineries.

It's since fell through the floor after high inventories so expect prices to come back down.

I remember when they were blockading the refineries to stop fuel going over £1 per litre!  Doesn't seem that long ago (but probably is), god only knows how their going to get the same amount of Tax when electric cars are more mainstream...

It was later than that. Around 2000/2001.

Yeh I recall that as I was also at uni.

It was the first and only time I saw grown adults have a punch up over a loaf of bread.
