Aircom pressure switch

Hi guys

After a failed attempt at regassing it seems i need the pressure switch just behind the radiator on the offside. Can anyone tell me the part number so i can get a price for one?

The only thing on ETKA I can see that is sensor related is 1K0 959 126 B
Later revisions may be available. VW would also be able to provide that if you asked them.

Had this replaced on mine after a failed re-gas attempt,  becoming a common issue apparently to such  an extent the small independent I use carries them in stock. Unfortunately I don't have the part number to hand

Had my one replaced 18 months ago and invoice states 1K0 959 126D.   Also worth checking the valves under the plastic caps where the gas goes in,  my A/C stopped working again and found these bubbling the gas out   :surprised: just ordered via TPS and they are £8.20 each

Does this show up as a fault code : :confused:  if not how do you check?

Well... it will show up as a fault when your coolant level drops. They usually leak.. as opposed to the sensor itself being faulty.

If you scan your car you will have a fault in your HVAC section...
It's normally an electrical sensor failure rather than anything which would effect coolant.

As above, the they leak past the electrical connectors in the plug
