Fitted a Forge Twintake
« on: August 09, 2013, 03:07:49 pm »
Did my latest mod last weekend, a Forge Twintake :happy2:

Not driven much since fitting but sounds like I have Darth Vader under my bonnet (haven't decided if I like it or not). It seems to feel more responsive on acceleration (although that might be a placebo effect).

Think the exhaust note has changed slightly in a good way.

Some pics:

Before

The bits

Out with the old

In with the new

Now need to try to get hold of a cheap 2nd hand engine cover to cut up!

Looks good Kalpesh. Do you feel like a Scooby owner yet with all that Whoossshh dissshh going on under the bonnet!

Had a few different CAI's but have never tried the Twintake. Why that one as opposed to any of the others, is it just personal preference?

A wee bit pricey but have you thought about a Audi TTS engine cover (around £90 inc bolts etc), looks really good IMHO in the bay and no cutting and hacking required.
