Refitting MFD2 nav after selling RNS510 problem.

Hi,I ve just put back in my old mfd2 nav back in after selling my RNS510 as i'll be selling the car but after refitting the MFD2 the GPS position is all over the place,a quick scan with vagcom shows the Gps antenna has 'a short to ground' any idea what may be causing this?I wonder if the person who originally fitted the RNS510 unplugged the position sensor and if so is that causing a problem?

I've just had a look at the compass module and it's connected but when I go into Vagcom it does'nt see the positioning sensor and there is no option to enable in in the can gateway.
