Lost the coming home and leaving lights!
« on: August 07, 2013, 09:55:29 pm »
the lights simply are not lighting up any more when they should! the auto lights sensor seems fine as it works when the ignition is on but when unlocking the car and coming home the lights dont work.

ive checked on vcds and no errors relating to lights. ive checked theyre enabled in the propper places but not working. ive tried taking them off and putting back on again cycling ignition but to no avail. im stumped!

can anyone shed some light on this (forgive the pun!)

all thats been changed recently is the instrument cluster to highline, but not upgraged the cecm or ccm (cant remember which it is) that enables the controls on the dash. is the menu system simply not accessible with older MFSW buttons?

Thanks

Thom

These lights are controlled on the Highline menu.  Use your mfsw buttons to set them and their duration.  It's under Convenience, IIRC.

cant access the menu. its got original sterring wheel buttons, not the later ones, and a basic electronics control module cecm or ccm dont know which

however ive enabled it on vcds, so surely it does the same thing?

Found the same as above and VCDS had no control - need to get the buttons working!
