Golf mk5 Gti an (stage 3) ko4
« on: August 11, 2013, 10:10:34 pm »
I may settle for a 3 door decent spec Gti and mod to about 280bhp and see how I feel then wait for an eddy to come up when I have saved some more

Any tips for going (stage 3) in a Gti
Ko4
Injectors
Fmic etc..

Will I be able to get near 350? Or will it be better with a bigger turbo?

Has anybody seen any parts lately as I've not seen many performance mods for sale lately

Thanks very much for the help

Or will it be much easier to get a 5 door Eddie as there abit cheaper(really want a 3 door but owell ha)

350bhp is going to take s on a K03.

Even with an Eddy, that's stage 2+ and a fair few high price mods to boot.

Hi I've recently stripped my gti that I ko4'ed and with the usual hardware I managed to get 344 bhp. Think with an edition 30 you'll get a little bit more torque due to the cams. Hope this helps

I can't see it working cheaper long term to make a GTI stage 3, than getting an Eddy in the first place.

My 3 door will be available soon if you've saved up a bit more by then.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Well! It would show a lot of super cars up, unless of course they went stage 3.  :signLOL:

I know what you mean but I'm not comparing which will be cheaper in long run now because ill have a Gti and be having fun and if I get 2nd hand bits it's the 10k for an eddy I can't afford

And haha very true but who does that :p
