Airtec intercooler?
« on: August 12, 2013, 12:46:19 am »
Just bought one of these and wanted to double check a couple of things!

On one of the pipes there seems to be a dent in the pipe, not sure if thats normal or ducked?

Also one of the brackets is a bit bent out of place, is it okay to straighten it back without effecting its strength?

Other than that looks a good bit of kit, got it for a good price second hand!

You can see the dent on the pic at the top left.

Cheers

Does anyone know if the brackets are meant to be different?

Going to fit it shortly but, don't know whether one of them is damaged (on the right hand side of picture) or if thats how its designed?

Cheers

Was the forge mounting brackets the exact same on both sides?

that other bracket which is not on the other side my forge kit did not have.. that could possibly be for your sensor and was mounted in a different position on my forge kit

just to confirm if your question is about the rhs not having a bracket that one on the other side is yes for your sensor to mount to
