If your painting the calipers, consider doing the disc hub silver or black, makes a huge difference.

Is that the dust cover just behide the disc your talking about bud?

Got all the right extra's from the off.

If u go CH's go 19s they fill the archs so much better

Yeah was nice to get a base with so many, only wanted xenons and leather really. 

Fancy the 18"s myself can get the car a wee bit lower and i think 19s are myb a wee bit big for Mk5s but again that my opinon, and there are alot which pull 19's off really well.

So today I had a spare couple hours so I decided to paint the brakes Red again as they where previously black. 

-Wirebrushed and washed.
-Sanded down using 400
-Blow off
-Painted Red using hammerite and clips where painted silver.

I intend to upgrade the brakes at some stage but this will tidy the OEM ones up for now.

Crazy the difference it makes pal, one of those 'stand back and look moments' 

But makes the world of difference. 

Yup bud, Mk1 GTi and got an 1.8T sitting beside it. Long term project so no hurry to finish it yet

18" CH's With dunlop sport max tyres and KW v2's So hopefully have it sitting nicely for the weekend, and then get a few wee bits painted etc.

Fitted the rear Kw's today along with the 18" bbs chs, 

Had to make a stop on fitting the front coil-overs as my bolts on my topmount started turning the nut (Badly rusted) and even with a pair of vice grips we still couldn't get them turned, so ive sourced some new bolts and the KW's already have top mounts fitted so I intend to cut the old bolts off and drop the strut out just 

Hopefully should have piictures up tomorrow evening after a wee wash :)
