If you already have the tyres the size would help people with suggestions...

On a Mk5 GTi, Monza 17's are ideal for winter I reckon. OEM but no diamond cut to worry about.

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.
Gone but not forgotten : mk2 Golf GTI 16v, mk4 Golf V6 4Motion, mk5 GTI Storm Developments Stage 1, mk5 GTI Revo Stage 1, BMW 330ci, Skoda Octavia VRS Revo Stage 2, BMW Z4 Sdrive35i.

17"s were substantially cheaper when I bought mine but only £13.50 difference each now. I have Monzas in black, I also remember that it was more economical to get a second set of 17" wheels as they're less desirable and therefore cheaper. Monzas are also BBS so the quality is there.  :happy2:

17's in the past have been quite abit cheaper for rubber but that seems to not exist now. The difference in rim price might vary quite abit though.

Im looking for either 17 or 18" monza's for winter wheels, also will be far easy to clean when you cant feel your fingers anymore!

You really cant go wrong with 17" Monza's

Apart from looking amazing they are mega easy to keep clean. Which is what you want in winter  :happy2:

Shame the 17' winter tyre prices aren't much different to the 18's, think I'll just keep with them (have 8x)
