i've got Weitec Hicon GTs. been very happy with them over the last 40k miles. they massively improved the car in the corners and they are actually more comfortable than the OEM Audi S-Line suspension.

there are almost certainly better coil overs out there, but for a mid range coil my experiences with mine tell me they will be very hard to top.

AP's are a good choice I've had them a few times. I've recently purchased some Apex RDX though and they are really good. I'd say better than AP's and around the same money.

i've got fk's, good if you haven't got a fortune to spend and had no trouble. Just be prepared for a much harsher ride.

I've got AP's on my Rocco. They didnt come with any grease or even the allen key for the grubb screw which was disapointing, but they ride well. Although i can't get the car to sit perfectly level  :sad1:

Comfort and coilovers are not really designed to go together. I have had a few set-ups over the years and must say am very impressed with the APs. Are a bit firmer than standard, but hardly noticable, one mans comfort may be terrible to others tho. I am very happy with the ride tho, car feels planted and handles well. I use my car daily to work and back, carry two passengers, dog and my young son. We don't get throw about, but i have not wound them all the way down so that helps.

For the money I must say are a good investment. Better than the 90K standard set up, plus if I'd just replace the springs with lower/uprated ones I'm sure the ride would be wooly. After fitting make sure get a good four wheel digital aliegment set-up done  :happy2:

AP are superb coilovers for the money, KW have better build quality if you want to spend that little bit more  :pomppomp:

Lots will disagree with that.

Comfort and coilovers are not really designed to go together.

I got rid of my Aps after moving back to the UK and fining them to harsh and crashy.  KW are probably the most crashy of all the setups ive experienced.  Ask Mike, i hated them on his car lol.  The only two setups worth considering in my experience if you want to retain a level of comfort but have performance is AST and Bilstein

My vote goes to Bilstein. B12 or B14 for adjustability.  :happy2:
