If you press eject it tells you what it's doing with a little status bar. :)

I think mine is a version A? It was factory fitted to a Jan/Feb 08 car.
It updated fine to the latest version 2660

If it breaks Ollie I have firmware 1100 to revert back to which Maters advised does work.  But mine had a cd/dvd error at the beggining and still worked fine :happy2:

When its been off for a few hours it still thinks im in Germany. Takes about 10 minutes till it realises im in the UK.  :confused: Also, i cannot get the speed display for the current road to show MPH. It will only display the speed of the road im on in KMH.

I get the same Deako not sure how to change it to mph, Also get the german thing but mine take a couple of seconds to sort itself,  although I've retro fitted the Q7 antenna so I get about 9/10 satellites out of around 12.

Sorry only saw this late.

This firmware updates both A and B units.

As for the speed being in KM it's because you have modified maps showing speed cameras.
