The bottom one is the dogs balls  :happy2:

I think so anyway, could have asked for an extra we bit here and there for improvements...

like an extra inch for the rubber pipe that joins the air filter to intake, just my thoughts to make it that we bit more sealed and secure!

I made a few improvements to suit my needs.

Find it still gets warm, maybe not as warm as before though...  :driver:

just my 2pence !

Nice sound and looks the klass.

I would like the wrap that gets tied on, to help keep temps down!

Isn't the Revo 'race' intake camcoated for heat reflectiveness?  I agree it looks like a longer section of silicone should be used.

When you say gets warm Neil, you mean when logging AITs?

avoid the ex-BSH one like the plague. it doesn't fit properly, the bung for the DV pipe for K04 cars sits right next to one of the reservoirs and as the engine rubs against it it cuts a hole in it leading to unmetred air entering the system and ruining the performance. it is absolutely rubbish. i bought it relatively cheaply but then had to pay vRSAlex to significantly modify it to fit. i'm very happy with it now, but for the same money i could have easily had an EVOMS and a lot less hassle.

Haven't had the chance to log it yet, just feeling the heat coming of it...

I've asked for a longer bit of silicone for the filter side and this will be done with the next batches. There is a nack for getting it to work spot on.

Hopefully they will be supplied with nicer stainless hose clips soon. For the top end kit price wise, it needs the best quality clips.

Neil, I have a massive hate for those exhaust clamps you are using.  They don't seal well and squash the alloy tube.  Bin them for some JCS high grips.

^^^^ Alex, is it worth waiting for this new batch, when would that be?

Any chance of swapping the "old" silicone hose that's still in it's original wrapping for a replacement newer longer one?

Still fits spot on. Just a bonus if it was slightly longer to make it slightly easier to fit. Not had any issues with any of the ones I've fitted.

Fit the silicone onto the filter first and clamp up. Then slide onto the tube once the tube is already fitted.
