Something was due for release a couple of weeks ago but plans changed, it's safe to say version they are now planning to release will be worth waiting for

But you would be best on expecting a wait of several weeks TBH

^^^ The DSG map itself doesn't add any power, but becuase of the increased redline it allows to access power that was already there but just not available because the DSG box would force the change up.

This is more applicable to the K04 based cars as they continue to produce power past the typical 6200rpm that the box would change gear, where as the K03's don't produce power this late into the rev range.  :happy2:

^^^ Yes any form of remapping or modifications can cause issues with the warranty TBH. I am lucky with my dealership that they do tuning products themselves and have done some of the modification work on my car so they are understanding of some modifications.

Mine is nearly out of warranty so that's why I would be happy to put the DSG software on mine  :happy2:

Do you think there might be a software like "select" to disable the map? So VW cant see any changes ?

^^^ Not that I am aware of.

Even with the Select Plus switch on the ECU remaps VW could still see that it's been remapped if they really wanted to   :fighting2:

Hmmm, well my garage seems to be mod friendly, just dont like to be so sure when it comes to DSG since they're incredibly expensive if anything were to go wrong :scared:

Will see, sent Carl an email, awaiting his response :innocent:

I'll probably end up going for it :rolleye: :jumpmove:
