ITG intake problem
« on: September 03, 2013, 10:11:37 am »
Hi all,

Quickly tried to fit my ITG intake last night and ran into a couple of issues.

How do you get the heat sheild to fit? The instructions said about rubber grommets but, i don't seem to have them?

It also seems very tight at the 90 degree bend at the battery, is this normal?

Was missing a jubilee clip too so had to put the old intake back on until the new one arrives  :sad1:

Cheers

From what I've read you use the rubber grommets from under your engine cover.

If you have to undo the black plastic engine cover mounts, they have a nut on the underside so they will not undo without removing this first

I chewed he'll out of mine till I eventually realised the nuts underneath as the front 2 just screw in  :fighting:
