Newbie in Sittingbourne Kent
« on: August 26, 2009, 10:40:21 pm »
I collect my Laser Blue 06 GTi 5dr next week, so would just see if there are any other GTier's round my area?

I currently drive a silver BMW 3 series number plate W33 BYP (slightly modified as W33BY P) to read WEBBY!

Took much searching on autotrader and pistonheads to find the right car, but eventually came up trumps, even though it meant a trip to Southampton.

Anyway the car is a lovely spec: DSG with flappy paddles, xenons, sunroof, rear parking sensors, cruise,MFSW, 6cd in armrest, cloth interior (which I prefer to leather) Monza II's, Parrott 3200 colour bluetooth kit, electric drivers seat, and a partridge in a pear tree!

It's got 50k on the clock but is a 1 owner car and has a fully documented VW history the latest one being done on 24/08/09!

Can't wait to get the keys in my grubby little mitts!!

Thanks for all the Welcomes! Nice to see some friendly peeps on here.
I'm a member of a BMW forum (www.e90post.com) and have got quite a good thread going about my imminent depaerture, and it's quite interesting to see how many BM owners have previously had a GTi or who rate the MK5 as a good car. Nice to know GTi owners are quite respected, throughout other motoring groups.
