Those young Recaro's look really comfy!
My daughter does not complain.  The missus wanted some Maxi Cosy seat for her, but I had to put my foot down and insist on the Recaro.

makes a change  :P :P

I'd love to come up and meet some of you guys and see some of the cars but I'm not sure my Blue-oval tractor would fit in... It's looking pretty sorry at the moment too, sporting a battle scar from my commute along Ascot high street (not my fault i hasten to add...) I've had it mapped back to standard as well, so it's not even making 150bhp any more.   :sad1:

....It doesn't matter what your car is, mate - If it's convenient, come along anyway. It's always friendly and it'll be nice to meet you :happy2:

Not calling you lush mate, before you get any ideas!

I reckon it is either cuprak1 or Poverty that is after the Recaro's.  Those boys are always on the lookout for some Recaro.  I have a Recaro already in the car, trouble is that my daughter get's the benefit of that particular seat rather than the driver or passengers...

Recaros in the cupras come as STD. Shame that they arent as cool as the ones in the fast audis etc

There is no recaro markings on the seats when I have looked.  You have them as std in yours?

Got same seats as you, pretty sure they are made by recaro going by threads over on scn.

Stealth Recaro, liking it!  Have not seen the threads on SCN, for obvious reasons... :indifferent:

....The standard front seats in the Mk5 Golfs GTI and R32 are also made by Recaro. Until 2007 you could pay £2-3k extra for these Recaro's in cloth or leather - They are far more supportive : -

Not wanting to take this any further off topic, but that photo concerns me Robin - are those your seats?

Bucket seats such as those shown here are rarely strong enough to actually take harnesses through the cut-outs, they are purely cosmetic. It was the same story on the old RS Focus - people we putting harnesses through the seats, but the backs of the seat aren't designed to take the load from a harness and can buckle and distort in a heavy impact, offering little or no support and potentially fatal consquences as the seat collapses around you. Just thought I'd let you know in case you weren't already aware of the dangers. The seat backs are separate from the base and arent stiff enough, like proper one-piece bucket seats, to handle forces exerted on them.

I don't mean to preach, but it's quite a serious safety concern - particularly on a track. They look lovely though... I hope I can source some.
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?
