not sure mines running perfectly either..  :booty:

Good to diagnose any problem then steve  :happy2:

....Exactly! That's really what rolling-roads are for: As a monitoring and diagnostic tool.

If your car isn't running well, a dyno session is a very good way of identifying and subsequently solving the problem. And that includes identifying what the problem isn't.

Mine seems to be running quite well.

Personally though I wouldn't class 10 minutes on the dyno as any more "diagnostic" than a 10 minute drive.
It will confirm a fault provided it is straightforward and simple but anything more complex requires a bit of investment time and resource-wise.

....I see what you mean about the 'diagnostic' aspect but I think you'll agree that if you or I went on JKM's dyno they'd be able to possibly diagnose some types of problem greatly helped by all their existing data and logging on our individual cars.

I'm only saying it's a worthwhile step in a process of elimination to find a fault if it's not already obvious from driving. I was just reinforcing your point about the possible benefit of dyno-ing a sick car.

Looking forward to seeing you again - I missed you at Goodwood.

Safe Journey! :drinking:

i should hope those going on the roller with poor cars advises charlie the operator before he goes and buzzes the redline on your car.

when a car is poorly the last thing i'd want to do is redline the motor!!!

....Please correct me if I'm misunderstanding you, but I'm assuming you have these 3 DV's : -

1) - OEM early versions - Some, but not all, have been known to tear especially on remapped cars under extra boost.

2) - Forge DV - Developed as an aftermarket solution to the above and very reliable and with other benefits.

3) - OEM recent version - So far, very reliable.

I think you can trash #1 if you have #3. Forge's #2 is the more expensive but if you already have it..

i would have agreed but again, i swear the original 1. holds better!!

im surprised the 3rd RevD oem valve doesn't have some kind of rubber bung, how can a bit of plastic keep it air tight
