Dans car is a really sorted motor. Fastest car Ive had the pleasure to drive. We scanned his power graphs at my house so Im sure dan will post the graphs up shortly.

If not I will post them up

Oh and it was nice to meet everyone.  :happy2:

CupraK1 really needs to fit a pump, and im gutted my car is playing up and I couldnt get her on the rollers  :sad1:

Yup thanks for organising the day Oli was good to see the usual suspects and newbies and the inevitable banter about RR numbers etc.

Guess the GT2871R upgrade is not that bad after all...2nd time i've seen Dan's car on the rollers and it sure does produce the goods.  :happy2:

Still i think i was more impressed with Stu's S3....Revo S1 + DP = 337bhp!

And Hedge needs to come clean with all the mods he's done since the last RR session.

And the noise from the Forge Twintake on Neil's ED30 was proper whooshy  :signLOL:

Great day out - Many thanks for organising Oli.
Finally got to meet all the friendly faces in person - and see all of the cars in the flesh.
I was happy with my car's figures (although from now on I promise to use Super Unleaded and not the crappy 95 RON  :ashamed:)
Must also say thanks to the Surrey RR guys for hosting us so well and getting through the car's so efficiently.
All in all a great bunch of people and a great day out (if I'd known DanGBs car was so mental I would have stuck around longer!)

now that makes perfect sense. presumed a stg 1 gti from the figures but low torque for a stg 1.

shows the dyno is accurate cos they are some perfect figures for a std cupra.

well i reckon he's lying now about problems with his car.  :signLOL:

391bhp is non too shabby at all!

and yes Skavia....stick some Super Unleaded (Shell V Power is the choice for most on this forum) and you may see ur car hit the magic 300 next time u go to an RR meet.  :happy2:

what dyno did he get the high torque figure. 360Ibft seems abit high for a stage 2 anyway. thats stage 2+territory

imo 323 bhp is what i thought stage 2 k04s were putting out. Id have expected about 320-330Ibft torque though

Power and torque, buts its odd, after the RR run, DanGB scanned his car, and cleared the codes, reset ecu and cuprak1 took the car to another rolling road day straight after where they also had the dyno dynamics rollers and they couldnt get a propper reading due to the car keep wanting to jump out of the rollers, They tried 10 times to get a reading but it just wasnt happening. Says the car feels much stronger now again but who knows could just all be in his head, we all know how these things go with our beloveds.

Well here it is,

I was quite shocked to be honest. I do beleive I have some serious issues with the car, so do think its quite high.

Previously ive seen 380-390, so its spot on in that sense, but I was running water/meth injection today (although the map has not been modified to take advantage of this fully)

The graph shows the third and forth runs. The 1st and second were perhaps 360/370/380 (cant remember) so the third was the highest. To note: I reset the adaptations just before it went on the dyno.
For the forth run I switched off the water meth via a switch in the cockpit and ran straight away, this gave 372, so maybe this drop was directly due to no water meth. the graph is slightly different - higher in one place.

Whats people opnions on the runs today? Most were done in 3rd gear, but mine was done in 4th due to wheelspin.

PS: On the graph above (390hp) it was 332.3 whp. I thought thats odd as ive dynos ive run show above 350whp at that HP figure.

done in 3rd gear????

strange

ive used 3 seperate DD rollers in the past and they used 4th gear for the pulls. And AMD use 5th gear. We need to get some dyno operator to post on here to explain what gear should be used and what the difference could be if you use a different gear.

mega power there dan. making me want water meth even more now.
