retrofit dab antenna
« on: August 29, 2013, 10:53:41 am »
Just fitted a DAB RCD510 and i am needing a DAB antenna. Has anybody had any experience with these dab converters?

I would like to see what people have done with their retro fit DABs

Haven't used that one but did have a windscreen one, but got fed up with the patchy reception so put a polo short whip with dab base on the roof in place of the old aerial and ran an extension antenna cable to the stereo - much better
VCDS cable HEX-USB+CAN. New but can do the basics including coding

Sorry I don't. I got mine second hand from a member on here. Dealer should be  able to find it. The base is just like a normal base so don't let them think its the expensive shark fin combo one
