235/35/19 p-zeros. So many variants. Help
« on: August 28, 2013, 10:00:53 am »
I reckon it's about time to replace the tyres on my 19" BBS CH's.  Want to try out some P Zeros but there are so many variations of the size.  Checking the various tyre sellers and there are about 4 different versions of 235/35/19 91Y XL all varying considerably in price.  Any idea what I should be going for. (don't say the cheapest btw )

Don't know if it applies to Pirelli, but Check for an RO1 specification tyre, incase they come up a bigger size .
I made the jump to Michelin super sports in 235/35/19 from Falkens in the same size,  the Michelins are a huge tyre,so much so they catch the arches on front and inside liner on the rear, and im on brand new stock suspension, spoke with Tech Manager at Michelin and he informed me of the ro1 which is slightly narrower version of the same size designed for Audi oe fitment, unfortunatly Super Sports are not avail in ro1 yet.

Yes, pretty sure R01 is one of the variations.  There's also ones for Ferrari, Porsche and mclaren.  I just want normal bloody P  Zeros ffs.

:surprised: i see what. You mean, just looked on lovetyres and there are 16 variations, if i was picking id have either the p zero Ro1 @ £169.94 or the p zero below it at £177.18

Might be worth a call to whoever you purchase from to check on the actual physical dimensions, last thing u want is to be in my situation with arch rub

i've got Falken fk 452 215/35's on an 18.

very surprised how good they are, not as harsh as expected and feel great in the wet.
