More map woes
« on: September 01, 2013, 03:43:48 pm »
Hi all

Struggling to get the maps loaded. I downloaded them and unzipped them into a folder.

After this I created an ISO file from the folder that I downloaded. Burnt it at slow speed onto a TDK DL DVD+R

Is there anything I've done wrong? I don't want to go and buy new discs if this isn't the problem. I'm not sure if I did the right thing in creating an ISO file. No idea if I did it right.

Mac. I burnt it via disc utility.

IMO only use a verbatim dvd for burning the image.

Some units just wont read a copied file.  But stick a genuine disc in and it copies straight off. I have a genuine disc that I just charge a small amount to load onto customers cars.
