Egr clean or delete
«
on:
September 15, 2013, 11:17:33 am »
I've got a gt sport 170 with no engine mods and I'm contemplating either cleaning my egr or replacing it with an allerd delete pipe.
What are other sootchucker owners views on the eve clean or delete option
Cheers sean

Clean it, then have it software deleted if you get/have a remap & keep it in situ is my advice.
You'd need a tuner to write out the EGR anyway if you use one of those blingy delete kits.

Don't you get a little bit of exhaust leak through even if its been switched off?
I think that's why people delete them

Petrol engines don't have EGR (as far as I understand).
