I'm back!! After 6 months running an e46 BMW 320td Compact I've come to my senses, sold up and got back into a mk5!
Went all the way to Aberystwyth (the back of nowhere from Edinburgh) and bagged myself a '56' plate 170 GT TDi. I don't intend on modding it as much as my previous Golf, famous last words, but I'll keep you all updated anyways.

So not a lot then, eh? Realistically the de-DPF and remap, and silver/gold 18" Pro 1.2's will take a long time (cost). I already own an armrest MDI and loom but need to source a RCD510 first. And check if my CAN gateway is revision 'L' or later.
Oh I'd love to pick up a VCDS cable again.
I've a few idea up my sleeve, will need to see if they pan out (if VW parts desk won't charge an arm and leg for them!)
Definite first on the list is to colour code the rear end. Can't stand the mahoosive black valace VW deemed acceptable to sell Golfs with.
